The mission of Cancer Families United is to establish a community that offers support, advocacy, and awareness to families impacted by pediatric and young adult cancer.

Our programs and services are designed to provide a positive experience for families with an ill child while also showcasing solidarity in their battle against cancer.
We believe in supporting the whole family, as a sick child can affect the entire household.
Awareness. Support. Advocacy.
OUR STORY
Cancer Families United was founded by two families, The Pedersons and The Benneckes to create an organization that would provide support and services to benefit families throughout the treatment process. A shared passion for helping those in need combined with their own personal experience with their daughters' cancer diagnosis, created the mission of CFU. Since 2012, the organization has provided programs and support to hundreds of local families; given financial assistance for bereaved families; attended national events to promote awareness and advocate for childhood cancer patients; hosted dozens of family events that connect families with shared circumstances and gave childhood cancer awareness a voice in the local community. Together with our partners, supporters and community, no family is alone when
they learn their child has cancer!
